I learned early in life the time-tested principles of saving and investing for the future, while avoiding consumer debt. I credit lessons passed down from family, and from exciting speakers and authors like Dave Ramsey, for my early commitment to financial stewardship.
I worked my way through college and graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2002. Shortly after college, I chose to pursue a career in federal law enforcement. I spent nearly twelve and half years in that exciting career learning invaluable lessons and developing great relationships along the way. I also started a family which includes my beautiful wife Jessica and our three children Gaby, Brady, and Colton.
I was excited to join my dad, Marty, in the family business during the summer of 2016. I have a passion for helping people understand the complex world of investing. Its my mission to make the investment planning process accessible for those at every stage of life. I particularly enjoy helping young families as they begin their journey, and I look forward to long fruitful relationships for all. My guiding philosophy is, “no hill is too tall”. I fully believe any goal is achievable as long as it is accompanied with a sound plan and the determination to stay the course.
My hobbies include anything outdoors. I enjoy riding bikes with my boys, fishing, hunting, and camping. Jessica and I love to travel, meet people and experience new cultures.
